Here comes the blitz

Juice Williams, Illinois QB #7 about to get sa...

The beauty of doing something you love for a long time, is that you will eventually come up with a plan that helps you finish and streamline your work.

I did this last week, and ended up with around 3000 new products in one of my Zazzle shops.

Then, I had another idea, that made the process of adding multiple products to Quick Create completely painless.

In two weeks, I can use all of the ideas I’ve got written down in my notebook for products, and have a healthy inventory in all of my public zazzle shops.

Now comes the part I loathe: I need to focus a bit more on promo so there will be an increase in sales overtime. Can’t stand building traffic manually. It’s ultra boring. ‘m hoping people who see my products via Zazzle’s marketplace, tweet or email the stuff they like to their friends. word of mouth is awesome. I like making stuff more than I like marketing it.

The Secret to Will Smith’s Success.

Check it out:

  • Popular rapper, who was the first in the genre to snag a Grammy
  • Got his own television sitcom, that ran for 6 seasons.
  • Went on to become a successful movie actor, who stared in Men in Black, Bad Boys, Independance Day, etc.

I could be mistaken, but Mr. Smith seems to be a very successful guy. You’ve other rappers try to mimic his career path. LL Cool J had a good tv show. I’d like to see Lupe Fiasco get a cheesy/campy sitcom, where he contantly breaks the forth wall, and points out how crappy the writing is. That would be pretty cool.

What I find interesting about Will Smith is the same thing I find interesting about legendary athletes. The man’s work ethic is obviously something that helped him get to where he is now.

Being the best is something you should aspire for. But going the extra mile, and putting in that much more work than the next man. That is something which is very attainable. Hard work pays off. Hustling to get what you want in life pays off. Go through the pain, experience the feeling of wanting the quit, and push yourself that much more to get through that initial shock.

You’ll become better/stronger for doing so.

Zazzle payment for September.

here it is, my zazzle earnings accumulated.

Why is it pending?
While the purchases have been cleared(must be there for 30 days becore tallied up), Payments aren’t made to sellers until around the 15th or so This is the 13th, so It should clear tomorrow, because that’s a Friday if I’m not mistaken.

Numbers… (Photo credit: MervC)

Right…But why does it say you’re debts are $51.39?
That’s my payment total. That’s how much Zazzle owes me for the sales my designs have generated on their products. The minimum payout per month is $50. If you don’t reach that amount, you’r earnings roll over to the next month. Then they are tallied again, and either roll over again if you don’t reach the minimum threshold, or, payments will clear around the middle of the following month.

It’s really not that complicated. I’ll probably end up doing a comic, explaining the process in simple terms(sans run on sentences.)

I’m not one to rock the boat when it comes pop culture. I remember arguing with a friend when I was a young stupid kid, that Ma$e was the best rapper out.

I never really grew up, neither has anyone else. We all have a warped opinion on a lot of crap because of our lack of objective views. The world ain’t stop spinning yet, right?

It amazes me what winds up trending on Twitter some times. simple hashtags that ask questions, or start discussion as partial statements, those are good. It is a community. You can pick something like that, and focus a series of tweets around it. Okay, cool.

Sometimes, you have trite garbage that makes everyone look like a spammer, out of context. I don’t keep up with the revolving door trends. I notice them though.

They remind me of the fits of laziness I get after having a pretty good period of productivity. Whether it’s working, or my diet. There are times when I slip up, and revert back to old habits. It happens. I’m just a human who’s still trying to get the hang of this whole life thing. It’s a process.

example: Monday I was a machine. I managed to sell three items on Zazzle in one day. Three different stores saw sales from three different buyers. That’s never happened before. I’m still feeling a euphoria from reading the emails I got confirming the transations yesterday.

I’m on cloud nine. The prospect of earning a living online is very real. I just need to keep trekking, and do what I have been doing. It’s working. I’ll be sure to see better days, and weeks ahead at some point real soon.

#winewednesday t-shirts

Tuesday: I’m basically a brick with glasses and a pretty face. I don’t know what happened.I was rolling, and thought those sales would only serve to reinforce my resolve to work hard. It’s the glitch in the reward system. When you get something you want, you tend to take that, and put less work toward reaching your goal. This doesn’t always happen. It is more likely to happen if you  have something that is very unexpected come your way.

The key, you see, is to take it for what it is: a revolving door trend. As a trend, it will come and go. Am I expecting multiple sale days again this week? Not really. I want it to happen, but it probably won’t. I’ll be happen to see an increase in views at the vary least. I’m keeping it all in perspective.

If you wish to make more gains toward whatever your goals are in life, you have to keep grinding even when you do begin to see progress. Don’t let up and celebrate until after you cross the finish line.

I like dime pieces.

Two dorks, one jar. Oh my gosh!

Literally. I like picking up dimes, and saving them. They say a penny saved…Then I usually walk away. Fluck a penny! 10 cents at a time is the bare minimum I roll with. Nickels are always good to have around; If only so you can flip them at people whom you don’t value and tell them “go buy yourself somethin’ nice!”

It only takes 10 dimes to make a dollar. Simple math. 100 dimes is 10 bucks. If you keep an Altoids tin, a jar or whatever else to collect change in, you’ll soon find yourself with instant disposable income. I probably shouldn’t call it instant though. Potatoes are never instant. You still need milk, a microwave, butter and salt before it’s close enough to being real food. It’s  kinda lucrative marketing  stupid to call THAT instant.

So yeah, it’s as instant as legally allowed, apparently.

In this case, the effort it takes to pick up a dime, or quarters(whatever the heck makes your boat float, sweetheart), represents the potato flakes. The container that holds your money is the bowl. repetition and time are the water and microwave, respectively.

This guy….gets bishes, I’m sure.

I guess you could put on a big tacky gold chain, listen to William Hung, then do the running man, and have that be the butter in you please. I’m not here to judge. I’m just kicking that sweet science for ya’ ass! Do whatever it takes to get your rocks off… You sick, uncoordinated freak, you!

How long it takes to accumulate this disposable jackpot depends. Do you have friends who like to ask you to do stuff all the time(that sweet girl you like, who turned into an ungrateful wench when she put you in the friendzone)? Well, You can tell them you are trying an experiment, and need all the loose change they can gather in order to help Will Smith save the world from aliens.

Or, tell them you like shiny things, and you want any extra coins they’re willing to spare. That’s the boring way to do it. Choose whatever way fits your personality.

if you have trouble keeping that hand of yours out of the currency cookie jar, you could put a note on it with a reminder of what you’re saving up for. this would mostly likely be a rainy day fund. that’s always a useful thing to have. Or, you could be saving for something specific, and long term. maybe you want to take a trip to Vegas, and catch all types of STD’s from the loose women who hang out in front of Barry Manilow’s dressing room.

Again, I ain’t judging shit.

Just be sure to have a  reason for this self maintained saving account of yours, or you’ll have many reasons to bleed your funds dry before they can grow into big strong sums like they’ve always dreamed of.

Allow me to shamelessly jack the closing line from every Hodge Twins Youtube video by saying….

…It’s just advice….That’s all it is….do whatever F&$# YOU WANNA DEW!

“Working” From Home.

Working from an office, or from a gas station, or from the frialator is a lot like working from home. If you don’t agree, whatever. You’ll never be successful or productive without the following in either setting:

  1. Drive. You need some internal encouragement to get your tail out of bed, and get to work. This could be for that car you want, that girl who don’t like you because you don’t have that car you want, etc.
  2. Order. If you aren’t organized, you’ll go through hell every time you need to find that thing you misplaced minutes ago. Did you even have it in your hands before, or were you day dreaming about using it? Do you have a clear grasp of what it even looks like?
  3. A Schedule. If you don’t know what to do, why the hell are you even employed.

That last part is actually kinda fun when working from home. You don’t have a very rigid schedule, unless you only do 2 or 3 things to make money. Even then, you can still play around with it a bit.

Example: I like to break everything down to 15 or 30 minute chunks, and do something else after my timer goes off. It keeps me from getting stuck, as I can go back to a task later on, with less stress involved. I’m keeping myself busy while doing this. It isn’t 30 minutes of Zazzle, then 15 minutes of reddit, then 30 minutes of stuffing my face. I try to get everything done as soon as possible.

I cycle through all my work at least 3 times a day. My current schedule lasts for 4 hours and 30 minutes. Once I’m done, I usually go back again and create more Zazzle designs in GIMP, or check the SEO of some of the products I already have online. So if I’m not adding stuff to my stores, I’m doing whatever I can to promote what’s already there.

Without a clear cut schedule, one I trust because I can tweak it to fit my liking for the day, I wouldn’t get half the amount of work done. When you have a ton of ideas for something, you might write them down and go on to do something else. Or, you sit there thinking about how cool the outcome would be if you actually did something. The reward is very nice. You’ll never get it though, unless you write down what it takes to get it, and then follow through on that.

If pro wrestling taught me anything…

It’s that the bad guy is often the coolest mofo in the building.

Ric Flair in Seoul, South Korea. February 10, ...

Also, it’s that you have to have some unlikely alliances every now and again. That’s why I’ve decided to hook up with the Evil Yahoo, and try this Yahoo! Contributor thing once more.

I figured I may as well give this a shot. Not enough has changed at Associated Content(what’s left of it) to completely give it up.

If I get 500 views a day, for 31 days, its 15500 views  total for that month.

that’s 15.50 times 2 = $31 a month. That’s my goal, $31 dollars a month associated content.

as a contributor to yahoo sites, you have a clout level that is determined by the total page views your articles have received. My clout is at level 10, thus my earnings per 1000 views is $2.

How can you increase your page views?

SEO…which I hate because not knowing how to implement it will make you look like a tool when you try it the first time.

But I don’t have to worry about that shit, but I’m not wasting time with trying to publish anything on that busted ass site. I figure I may as well get the most out of the 100+ articles I already have over there. So, I will try to promote those to earn a passive income monthly.
